Stoup to Kenmore. Wildly popular Ballard Brewery Stoup has snagged a spot out in the suburbs. Taking over the former Seaplane Kitchen and Bar, Stoup will hold down the refreshment side of the operation while Chef Jason Stoneburner remains in place to handle the Northwest comfort food aspect. Check out the menu for Chef Jason’s eclectic Ballard Ave stop here. Stoup is known for a stellar roster of IPAs and cicerone cred (look it up), yet pilsner or porter fans should be able to find something to drink. The brewers are arriving in a comfortable home nestled among several other Kenmore breweries and a home brew store across Bothell Way. The entire Woodinville area is a beer and wine enthusiasts mecca, so there is no surprise a popular Seattle brewery is looking to get in on the action.
