Dining Out for Life…for Dining

Unsurprisingly, local charity groups seem to understand the hardships small restaurant owners are currently facing. Lifelong, an organization focused on health equity, is no different. Capitol Hill Seattle Blog reports, the group has decided to waive all restaurant donations and promote businesses that annually participate in their charity event. Dine out or grab take-out at these locations tomorrow (Thurs 9/24) to support restaurant owners across Seattle. The charity still has a fundraising goal of $150,000 so consider donating directly after you nosh.

Downtown Edmonds Heats Up

A quiet opening on August 26 saw Edmonds’ latest brew pub come online. Leftcraft has set up shop on Main Street, across from the Mar·Ket Fish Monger, with simple Northwest fare and ales. The menu looks quite comforting, with offerings like a wild caught coho salmon sandwich and a beef kimchi bowl using New York strip. That being said, this is Leftcraft. We are here for West Coast crispy boys. Everything on tap is from Washington and Oregon because why would we drink beer from somewhere else?
