Stuffed Lobster Roll, PC: Lobster Daddy

Lobster Daddy lands on the Hill

Capitol Hill residents should keep their eyes steadily transfixed on the Vermillion art gallery space on 11th Avenue. Kodey Currier’s Asian-fusion leaning lobster roll pop up, Lobster Daddy, is uprooting their $22 Maine Lobster roll from Mt. Baker to the laidback bar and art gallery. Look for a soft opening this Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 9. Other seafood options include tom kha chowder and and octopus carpaccio.

Seattle residents have always had plentiful options when it comes to excellent seafood. However, this is yet another East Coast trend to hit the Pacific Northwest, proving the region’s dining options are becoming evermore diverse. Check out Local Tide in Fremont or The Market out in Edmonds for some of the best Seattle interpretations of an East Coast classic. Just remember, crab will always be king up in this part of the country.
